Jesus came to draw all men to himself into a new family of God. You like me remember the scene from Braveheart where Wallace (the stud) goes to (the wimp) Robert the Bruce and begs him, "Unite us! UNITE US!" ...That's what Jesus came to do. He is the true King. He's the One who comes to give us life to the full: a life in communion with God, a life of brotherhood, a life immersed in creation. I love my King, don't you? I love to see...
"heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse,
whose rider is called Faithful and True.
With justice he judges and makes war.
His eyes are like blazing fire,
and on his head are many crowns.
He has a name written on him
that no one knows but he himself.
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood,
and his name is the Word of God.
The armies of heaven were following him,
riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen,
white and clean.
Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword
with which to strike down the nations.
"He will rule them with an iron scepter."
He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."
That's the kind of guy I would follow anywhere, no matter what, whatever it takes! Bring it world! Bring it flesh! Bring it Satan! I'm gonna show you how great I am! Today we unite to Jesus. Today we unite to one another. Is there anyone we've cut out of the picture? It's time to bring back unity. Unity is power. One is too small for greatness. Even God is 3 in 1. Unity is Power.
God bless,
Live from your heart,
Scott
PS. Please unite with me in praying for:
